Une soupe fraîche pour les jours chauds
Ingrédients : (pour 4 personnes)
- 2 poivrons rouges
- 2 poivrons jaunes
- 2 poivrons orange
- 3 tomates
- 1 gousse d’ail

- 2 yellow peppers
- 2 orange peppers
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 clove of garlic
- 3 sprigs of lemon thyme
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- salt, freshly ground pepper

Anti-aging benefits: peppers (the red ones are the richest in vitamin C and beta-carotene, so in antioxidants). Tomatoes. Garlic. Lemon thyme (high amount of antioxidants). Balsamic vinegar.
Benefits of colors: the pretty orange color gives the tonic touch to this cold soup, and the hint of green increases the refreshing effect.
yummy !
Hi! thank you for the visit 🙂
What a colorful way to get your antioxidants and super yummy as well. Oh this reminds me of a very funny story. Once in France in Chantilly, I ordered tres pepper soupa… so out come a bowl with a big dome over top. The waiter opens up the dome sets the dish in front of me and only 3 super tiny pieces of tri-pepper wedges with a little piece of parsley lay at the very bottom of my bowl . What??? (My son said- I hope you are not too hungry mom) and then I waited and waited for about 20 minutes later the waiter came with the actual soup and poured it into my bowl. Oh the saga of not being being fluent in French….LOL Have a great day. BAM
LOL!! It sounds like being a great restaurant… if I judge by the big dome on the bowl. Make you wait for 20 minutes is a scandal.
Increasingly in France, it is better to choose a small modest restaurant that serves good simple food rather than a great one that gives you a great dome but very small portions! They call this “nouvelle cuisine” 🙂 I hope that you had some better experiences in France! Thank you for the story, you made my day! Have a nice day, you too, Bam. Janina
