Sorry for no posting since long, I was in the United States, Rye (Westchester County, NY) and New York City. As always in America, I am amazed by the lot of beautiful vegetables at Farmer’s markets and even in supermarkets. I took some pictures to share with you, for the pleasure!
It’s already difficult to find some greens in France, I have never seen purple Kohlrabi, at least in Paris.
There is a wide variety of apples in the United States, much more than in France, where some species have completely disappeared.
Also a great choice of squashes with pretty shapes and colors.
With an incredible choice of herbs, salads and greens
D’autres potirons et courges / Other pumpkins and squashes.

Betteraves pourpres et dorées / Purple beets and golden beets. / I have never seen golden beets in France.

Welcome back! Hope you enjoyed your visit.
Thank you very much! I enjoyed every second of my stay!! It’s always so rewarding to go to America!
welcome back 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Thanks for visiting, I hope that I will be giving you a taste of New York now that you are back! That’s true, here there are some things (mostly veggies) that are rare in Europe for example, but at the same time there are the most tasteless fruits I have ever eaten. That was one f my main issues when I moved to NY.
Thanks for your visit as well! Really about the fruits? I guess it’s because you come from a sunny country rich in tasty fruits. In France it’s also true generally, but not in Paris. For example, I like very much the apples from the Farmer’s market in New York, and there is a so large variety. Small but tasty!
